FPD is excited to introduce Books with Buddies! At these special story and creative play times, students in 3K, PreK, or Kindergarten who are not yet enrolled at FPD can visit the FPD library for story time with FPD’s wonderful librarian, Mrs. Darnell followed by a special art, music, science, or Spanish adventure!

Each event takes place on a Thursday morning, once per month, from 9:30 a.m. – 10:15 a.m in the FPD Library. Parents and students are welcome to take a tour after the event.

There is no cost to attend and each event is different! We ask that participants register in advance so we know how many visitors to anticipate. Call 478.477.6300 for more information.

September 28 – Library Detectives. Learn more about the library and how to find your favorite books & authors!

October 26 – Fall in Love with Art. Dive into a good book and then get creative with a fall art project.

November 30 – Cuddle Up to a Good Song. Bring your favorite snuggly stuffed animal for story time and then use it for a little music & movement.

January 25 – New Year. New Ideas. Put on your thinking caps as we explore books and scientific experiments.

February 22 – Mi Libro Favorito. We combine our love for books with a little Spanish fun.

April 26 – Get Set for Summer! Learn the best ways to keep your love for reading strong during the summer and into the next school year!
